My name is Katy Kalata and I am excited to work with your children this year. I attended UCLA for both undergraduate and graduate work. I have a Multiple Subject Credential and Master of Education, I also hold an Administrative Credential.
I have two boys who attend school in Torrance. They are both at South High School this year. I took ten years off to raise them and returned to teaching in 2012. I was very active on the PTA during my time off.
The third grade team at Jefferson is dynamic, energetic and really incredible. I am happy to be a part of the team. I look forward to being a key part in your child’s education. It is going to be a great year!
