Principal's Message
Dear Jefferson Community,
As I begin my third year as Principal of Jefferson Elementary, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible students, families, staff, and community members who make Jefferson such a special place. It is a privilege to continue serving a school community that is deeply committed to supporting every child and helping each student reach their full potential.
This year, we are excited to continue strengthening our commitment to inclusion through our theme, "One Pod. Every Dolphin." Our goal is to ensure that our students feel valued, supported, and connected to our school community. By fostering meaningful opportunities for students to learn, grow, and thrive together, we are creating a culture where all Dolphins have a sense of belonging and the opportunity to succeed.
Our PBIS values, CARES: Come Ready, Always Accountable, Respect Others, Encourage Everyone, Stay Safe, remain at the heart of everything we do. These expectations guide our students in developing strong character, positive relationships, and a sense of responsibility both inside and outside the classroom. Through our PBIS framework, we will continue to recognize and celebrate the positive choices that help make Jefferson a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.
We also remain committed to our Every Day Counts initiative. Regular attendance is essential to academic success, social connection, and student well-being. By working together as partners, we can ensure that every student has the opportunity to fully engage in the learning experiences and relationships that help them flourish.
At Jefferson, rigorous academics are enriched through hands-on learning, leadership opportunities, assemblies, special events, and meaningful community partnerships. Together, we are creating an environment where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to become confident learners and compassionate citizens.
