Dear Parents, Guardians, Community Members, and Guests:
Welcome to Jefferson Elementary School. Our school has a rich tradition of academic achievement and is committed to educating the whole child. At Jefferson, we provide a safe, inclusive, academically challenging, and socially supportive environment in which ALL children can learn, grow, and thrive. The school staff is dedicated to providing the best education possible so that each of our students can be successful. Our core, standards-based curriculum is brought to life through differentiated instruction, hands on experiences, field trips, assemblies, special events, and guests. Through the coordinated efforts of our staff, parents and community, we are able to provide a wide array of learning and enrichment activities which take place on well landscaped and well maintained facilities. Our educational opportunities include art, music, drama, physical education, and computer technology, with additional programs such as vocal & instrumental music, GATE, Hands On Art, Garden & Nutrition, and more. I firmly believe that Jefferson offers a top rate educational experience for ALL students.
