About Ms. Butler
I grew up in heart of Los Angeles, near the Silverlake neighborhood. This will be my 28th year as a teacher. I obtained my B.A. in English with a minor in Music at UC San Diego. While in college, I studied abroad in the lovely city of Granada, Spain to practice Spanish. My teaching credential is from CSU Dominguez Hills, and I have a M.A. in English with an emphasis in writing from Loyola Marymount University. I’m an avid outdoors person who loves hiking, camping, and backpacking with my family. The outdoors and my experiences traveling have created a life-long love for learning and teaching. I am very excited to teach both fourth and fifth grades this year!
